I'm now £133 a month better off so im thinking of spending around £200 on a new gpu.

I currently have an old 8800gtx which has seen me through well, but i just bought the witcher 2 and it runs like balls.

Can anyone recommend a suitable upgrade?

I only have a 520w corsair psu.

Also the max length i can go to is 31/32 cm. (pref 2 pci slots max)

Im looking for a good performance increase over the old 8800 gtx.

Cheers

GTX 560ti or 6950

I'm not certain about lengths but the 560 is shorter IIRC.

Maybe you could add another 8800? Maybe even two more.

Assuming they go on offer again soon you could get one of the ~£100 5850s. Quite a lot below budget but an awesome card for the price.

Aside from that, I think you'd be looking at a 6950 2GB (around 200) or 570 (slightly more expensive).

What monitor/res are you running and are there any games other than the Witcher 2 that you'll be playing a lot?

24" display, and i will be getting bf3 when it comes out.

If ur 24" res is 1920x1200 then go for the 6950, if it's 1920x1080 then the 570 is a slightly better option.
