Looks great! Mine was almost identical but a 2002 and I sold it 18 months ago for £5000, so I think you got a very good deal there.

I thought the price was a little low, which is why I checked everything out to every detail MOT history, HPI check and even phoning Mazda dealership to confirm the service history and it all checked out.

After looking at a few ropey Mk2s up for £2.5-£3.5k I though this was worth the extra few £££s. Very impressed with the extra "drivers" kit on the sport (Bilstein shocks, Tochigi-Fuji diff, chassis braces etc)

It is just a joke within the motoring world. Non motoring folk however are completely serious with the gay/hairdresser comments

problem is, they would gain mucho repect if they could pull the skin off a rice pudding

i appreciate great chassis / handling, but it has not got the engine to make anyone excited

After having spent the past 4 years driving round in a 300bhp Celica GT-Four and a 270bhp 200SX the performance drop is noticeable and I'll agree they don't have masses of power, and the idea of a charged one with 300bhp does sound appealing...however I've had my fill of modified cars, expensive parts and loud exhausts!

To be fair, mine is most likely the worst one on the forums these days

It's finally gonna get some love this year though . . .

It gets me excited... I can thrash it everywhere and keep my nose clean. It's more about working on maintaining speed than having it on tap all the time. I like it, and honestly haven't really wanted more power, just handling tweaks. Everyone is different though :]

20mpg and getting on for £800 a year to insure, plus the fun was wearing off a little bit!
