Point and click BIOS

I know that a few are starting to hit the market now, but why was it so hard for manufacturers to provide a point and click BIOS?

Also, what is the cheapest one available?

- they couldnt be bothered
- they just realised they can charge us more for it
- they didnt want to pay people to develop it

MSI had them on some models way back on the P55 but we've reached the point where UEFI is becoming necessary because the limitations of legacy BIOS have started to get in the way. As a result Intel pushed the use of UEFI heavily for Sandy Bridge and with their backing other manufacturers had to follow suit.
