Can this be sold and where/how....?

Right, so its my day off tomorrow and me and my grandfather are going to nip into Blackpool and go to a few pawn brokers/jewellers. Should we take the stuff with us or just take a picture.

I have weighed it and it comes to just under 850g. My grandfather says its bits of old crucibles and just scrap that was left over from cut outs of lids etc.

What sort of price should we be expecting to be offered?

lol you take a bit of scrap with you

they do a test takes about a minute and theyll say yes or no to what it is .

do not ! take offers from any jewelers or nabs online

if it is what you say it is

not until you know exactly what its worth. i know quite a few people who deal with normal metals and precious metals.

plat can be used in a lot of things electrical aswell and can like be gold

a quick test is heat up the end with a lighter or something and it will be cool instantly

but...... if it isnt get ready for burnt fingers

it will be worth a lot so dont be shocked at the prices if it is the real stuff most of the time though its some mixture or other alloy or something.

Is platinum crucibles and other gear for similar use often 999 platinum? Or is it just plated? It's very soft and easily bent metals.

1. A massive bulb.

2. Some George's Marvellous Medicine.

3. Some kind of crack pipe.
