I was gonna say that it probably doesn't mean if you get a 3 star it will instantly bump you to 5, so don't expect to be able to run people over and smash cars up and still get 5 star ratings.
Best tip I can give for finishing every case with 5 stars is to get your partner to drive you everywhere, too much damage caused to the city can massively effect your rating at the end of the case
Like most great games I'm somewhat sad that this has ended now, hopefully more DLC other than what is just being advertised atm is on the way....

think he means they'll use the ideas from this in their own game
for me, having better stories would have made it much better, I should prefer this to Heavy Rain as the chasing/shooting/driving is good but the story in Heavy Rain made me want to keep playing, don't really care about finding out who did what in this game!
