Just finished it. Felt like a grind since homicide and the ending wasn't that good![]()
I hear the end is really underwhelming.

It is.
I finished it last night. Not what I was hoping for.
Are they in the style of GTA 3/Vice City/ San Andreas where you just have to drive around until one "appears"?

Completely agree. The character development as a whole was a big miss. I found myself not really caring about the central character, and when the whole Elsa affair thing happened, it was over and done in about 2 minutes and that was it. Yet, the guys life was supposed to have been turned upside down, lost his family (who you'd never even met, seen or even heard talked about and yet you were supposed to care) and he'd been busted down to arson. How does he deal with this? He quietly walks into Elsa's aparment. Great. Next case.I don't feel I've made much of a connection with any of the partners apart from Rusty, and that is mainly because every few hours I get a brand new partner which totally kills any feeling that I had for them.
Agree again. This is the best bit of the game.I absolutely loved the parts leading up to the end of the Homicide cases, I won't spoil anything but for those that have played through already I'm specifically talking about the part which begins with having to visit a fountain...
It's recurring theme in this game. You have a long fuse burning to what you hope is going to be a massive explosion, and it turns out to be a ***** little bang. What royally ****ed me off though was the actual ending to the Homicide cases... talk about a let down. :/
Snip.

the ending of 'Manifest Destiny'

Anyone bought L.A Noire Rockstar Pass? From my understanding it gets you all the DLC + upcoming for 800msp?
