This is the first time I have used Corsair memory.
I purchased it from OCUK and after 5 weeks one of the modules failed, so it had to be RMA'd back to the Netherlands, that was three weeks ago.
There communications are a joke.

On the Corsair forums there are hundreds of posts about RMA information not being available, and they tell you to phone a USA number to get information.

As I am in the UK, I am certainly not phoning the USA, as by the time I have gone through the menus and finally got to talk to a human the cost will be exorbitant.

The memory was sent by airmail and recorded delivery and after 3 weeks I have heard nothing, so I will certainly not be buying anything else from Corsair as there service to there customers stinks.

Rant over.

I have RMA'd a PSU and an SSD to them, both times received fantastic service! Turnaround was about 2 weeks.
However, it should have been returned to OcUK.

Doesn't matter. Contract is with the retailer not the manufacturer. That said, it can be better RMAing to the manufacturer,

Well I finally found the details and after 3 weeks this is what i got.

Considering it was three weeks ago that the memory was sent, there customer service does not inspire me to ever see the replacement modules.

I have sent them an e-mail , posted on the corsair forum and am still no closer to getting my replacements.

It shouldn't take more than 3 weeks to arrive, it may have been lost in the post. Royal Mail lost my Deathadder on it's way to RMA, wouldn't be surprised if your RAM had gone if you sent it with them.

I've always found Corsair to be decent, but really it should go back to the retailer. I think it's cheeky that they're telling you to go to Corsair after just one month. They used to do that after a year, this is silly. OcUK may say there'll be a longer turnaround to go back to them (if they don't just replace it with new like Corsair do), but you bought the goods from them, so your contract of sale is with them, and thus the responsibility of the product lasting a reasonable time.

I'd try and find that receipt, or if it is lost, you won't even be able to claim anyway unless you have other proof of postage.

Unfortunately I have lost the receipt so I cannot check.

Just as Alex said you better find that receipt mate or you will be outta pocket if the ram has not arrived :(

I myself have used Corsair RMA service once before (xmas time a few years ago, time of the really bad snow and major flight delays) and found them to be very good, that said the day they updated the online info was the morning the ram arrived first thing :)

It was the last time I used it, though that was several years ago.

It really does sadden me that more and more manufacturers make you send your stuff to reduculas places.

I am waiting for my RMA to get sorted. Had to RMA via them once before and didn't hear anything then all of a sudden it just arrived through my door.
That took around 2 weeks ish as well they are slow to update on the website but mine just turned up before they had changed anything online.

Maybe they like to give you surprises

Corsair certainly did surprise me, I had an e-mail from them today, saying they had received it, (23 days after it was posted), So I am now waiting to see how long it takes them to replace it.

The lady at the post off said she would check on Tuesday afternoon and had my phone number so she could let me know if she could issue a duplicate receipt, but never got back to me.

I had an email today as well saying they had got it I sent it off over a week ago and RM said it had been recieved.

Will probably be sent out start of next week
