lol ive being trying for ages to persuade my dad to change brondband but he wont budge. Coupled with the fact that i live in rural wales im maxing out on a steady 200kb/s :cool:
 
91% downloaded at the moment. I guess it's worth a try, but I don't hold out much hope for it. I wasn't really a fan of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1 and to an extent even Call of Duty 2, but I'll see how it goes.

MW1 was ok, been downhill since then, i'll try out the game for the weekend but i dont hold out much hope for it leading to a purchase of the full game.
 
Well, I've been on it for literally two minutes and it has already been uninstalled. What a load of absolute crap.

Instantly brought back to light why I disliked Modern Warfare 1 so much.

Some servers have truly daft rules. It does however happen to be a brutally accurate weapon with no acog scope weapon sway, which is rather a good combo! :P

My mate was booted from 3 servers in a row for using the MPK5 submachine gun or whatever its called, which is one of the standard loadout weapons as well lol.
 
I thought I'd never get the chance to experience the candyfloss dross of such games, maybe I will be converted

How far are you from the exchange, a working telephone at all is impressive for mid wales mind

steam is a beast. Maxing out standard dsl, will take me a while

I ended up buying it :o

I have had all of the COD games on console before and BOPS on my 360 but it's just so much better on PC. Graphics are not out of this world but isn't nice when its not a blurry mess with jaggies everywhere.

The server's are really reliable once you find some good ones (already made 3 favourites and they were all UK ones) I like how it goes straight to another map instead of going back to the lobby every time.

I don't like to boast but I was doing very good for the 2 hours I played all of my K/D was 2.00 or more I think 1 or 2 games I got 0.96. It was funny seeing a rank 1 on the top of the leader board when some prestige whatever was low and had negative K/D. I think the experience from the 360 and then switching to M/K increased my performance a lot.

One server kicked me because of last stand which made it useless for me because it's on the standard class :(
