Hi,

I have Microsoft outlook on my desktop pc and also on my laptop.

Both running OS Win 7

I use either the laptop or desktop computer to receive and send emails.

Problem is, when i look for emails they could be on either, the desktop or laptop.

is there any way to sync both outlooks so they both have exactly the same on them.

I know i can do import and export of .PST files. But that would not work as a way of syncing.

Thanks

Thanks.

POP3 account?
Set them up so they dont remove emails from the server, though this may fill up your account but if you have Outlook2010 you can set it up to delete any off the server that are X days old.

imap based email would likely be the best option, it's all basically dealt with on the server side.

Other option - use synctoy or similar to do a 2 way sync of the folder where the .pst file is - I have not tried it but see no reason why it wouldn't work, I use IMAP approach.

If you are using gmail switch from POP3 to IMAP as others have said. If you need to stick with POP3 set it not to delete e-mails from the server except for when you delete them from your deleted items folder.

I do not use gmail. Just have outlook set up to receive emails from my freeserve/wanadoo account. Never really found a good way of syncing 2 computers with outlook.
