Yup all the way down and on the bonnet, only thing she can think of is, there was a wedding on at the hotel and a 9 year old girl went missing, so a lot of people went looking for her in the grounds of the hotel and the police came, turned out the girl had fell asleep under a table, so someone from the wedding could have done it, drunk and saw her car and thought, why should someone own a nice car.

What car is it? Looks like a Ford Fiesta . But can't believe people would just do such a thing, its just mindless vandalism

Also my parents car was also keyed last year in a car park in Birmingham
Exact same patten on the bottom of my sisters on the rear passengers door on the parents car.
Puts me off even thinking about ever buying a brand new car.

Buying a brand new car generally isn't the way forward any ways!
You do take the chance when buying a good car though, this could happen to either of us and it's a bloody great shame. There are some scum about.

I'd imagine going through insurance would be the best route.

Police are coming round today for a crime number thingy and to have a look.

A decent place will cost quite a bit more than that. I'd more expect £7-800 unfortunately.
It happens because the 2 bob **** responsible not only dosent own ANY car, they have no money, never will have any money a small dick and probably a couple other problems on the go, so doing that is revenge on society.
And lets have it right, your dads car cant fight back, which saves them getting a dig in a normal work of steam situation, see iv made a study of these ***** and they are my findings.
Mindless vandalism from some low life scumbag, maybe next time they do it someone will give them a slap or two.
On the topic of getting it repaired, it looks pretty bad, will definitely need the panels spraying so will probably be an insurance job but I'd get quotes first and weigh up the costs.
