OK I just upgraded my RAM for my rig below to this new corsair stuff.

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz CL9 1.5V Non-ECC Unbuffered.

After installing it the system wont even POST. HELP please?

My current rig which works fine.

Asus M4A785TD-V EVO 785G Socket AM3 onboard DVI VGA HDMI 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHz Socket AM3 8MB Cache 125W

OCZ 4GB KIT (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1600Mhz PC3 12800 REAPER SERIES DUAL CHANNEL KIT (7-7-7-24)

I assume you've removed the OCZ RAM.

Are the memory settings in the BIOS on auto or set to manual?

The new RAM is 9-9-9-24 and the old 7-7-7-24.

The new RAM won't run at the same settings as the old.

Put the old RAM back in and ensure the memory timing is set to auto or manually set it to 9-9-9-24.

Just looked at the list of approved RAM for that board.

There are no 4GB sticks mentioned, it may not be compatible.

The specification says 4 x DIMM, Max. 16 GB, DDR3 1800(O.C.)*/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066/800 ECC,Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory.

So 4GB sticks should work.

The approved list is from 2009. I doubt there were many 4GB sticks to test then.

Easy option first.

Memory clock mode: Manual.

Memclock value set at 667MHz for now.

DRAM Timing Mode: Auto

Memory OverVoltage: Auto

If that works we can tweak from there. If it doesn't we'll have to change a few more settings.

I also cleared CMOS so everything was on Auto and still wont POST

OK.

Memory clock mode: Manual.

Memclock value set at 667MHz for now.

DRAM Timing Mode: Manual and these settings:

TCL 9
TRCD 9
TRP 9
TRAS 24

Memory OverVoltage: 1.6V (or +0.1V if that's how it works)

Try a single stick at a time.
