I started a trial with lovefilm for the 3 games unlimited package in november/december and am still with them now. I had a few slow deliveries around christmas (2 weeks to arrive) and they were great in that they sent out new games or another copy of the same one out at the same time however i've had a few go missing over the course of 6 months or so.

From memory i think it was 2 games slow around christmas, ended up with 2 copies of each game which were returned okay. So 2 claims of lost delivery.

Then in february i had a pack with 2 games that i returned never turn up. I waited the four days and had a letter sent through with royal mail for me to sign saying i'd posted them. Again they sent out new discs before trying to find the problem so can't fault them there, however i never received an update as to whether they arrived late or not at all.

This month i've had 3 missing returns and had to claim on the website for each one. Again they've sent out new discs.

So it seems that over 6 months i've had around 15 games and maybe a third have had claims against them. Now the only problem is i don't know whether they ever turned up! So they may well have just been delayed somewhere and turned up at lovefilm HQ a few weeks later or they've gone missing entirely but they count as the latter against my account by the looks of it.

I've now had an email through from them saying that i'll be put under investigation due to the high amount of lost post (not delayed) that kind of makes it sound as though they're accusing me of stealing them. I know 2 of the claims were delayed and i returned them at the same time so the discs must have been received.

From my end i'm waiting 4 days before a claim, 1 day for packing and 1-2 days postage. A week of waiting and then i get accused of stealing for the princely sum of £20 a month!

So has anybody else had similar experiences or is it just me?

Been using them for well over a year now and haven't had a single problem personally. I think once a disk they sent didn't turn up and vice versa but I just e-mailed them, signed the slip etc. and didn't hear back. The one I sent that didn't turn up was especially wierd because I sent two in one packet, one apparently turned up and the other one didn't.

In any case, apart from the odd one or two instances, never had this much of an issue. Quite surprised you are. Maybe a dodgy postman or something? (I have no idea if that's common or not, but is the only point of fault I can think of, apart from a dodgy employee at Lovefilm itself).

been with them for 3 years , had proberly 2 instances where a disc went missing in the post from either my end or there's , i find there email support top notch for sorting problems out as well!

Had exactly the same, 2 discs in one packet and only one arrived. After about a week the other arrived as well, suspect something just goes a bit wrong at their end.

I have also had one disc that I think either never made it out of their building or they sent to wrong person as a week after they sent it to me it arrived back after never being delivered to my house lol.

Dont worry about the accusing email, i had the same but it was regarding damaged discs, i was so annoyed with the tone of the email i almost cancelled the account. They reserve the right to cancel your subscription if there arde too many lost though.

Have never had anything go missing BUT i have had my return disks sitting in my glove box for about 6 weeks. thanks for reminding me gonna go post them now....post box in viewing distance from my front door brb

i joined for a film trial. ordered two discs but one didnt turn up. advised them and they sent another which never turned up. cancelled the trial

i've a feeling people in the post system take these as it's an easy target

They've been perfect for me. Even creditted me with 5 extra disks when I complained that they didn't stock Universal titles (I recommend doing this).

Been oerfect for me for over two yrs.
Maybe send them an email saying you're willing to cooperate whatever it takes to clear your name?
Maybe take pictures/videos of you posting them?

I know, it's such a pain. I think the worst part is the 4 day wait for discs. I'm paying for a service and they aren't delivering as far as i'm concerned, quite literally. Now i get the accusational email.

I think there was one called boomerang or something like that. I had TWO, two disc memberships running as i was hooked on GS  4 games went missing, all new titles. But THEY MADE you Proof Of postage :)

Hmm. Worth going on the £5.99 2 discs a month, 1 rental at a time deal for just games?

I don't tend to play a game much more than a month or so and it then collects dust.

£72 a year for 12 titles (or 24 if I give myself 2 weeks per game).

See i looked at downgrading to that, however i'm unsure about the limited disc aspect of it. One of the games i had was sniper: ghost warrior and it was utterly pants. It was completed in 2-3 days and went straight back. If i had a couple of bad ones i'd be left bored for a few weeks, or if i never got the high priority titles.

Think metro 2033 went back pretty quickly too.

Isn't there one around £8 which gives you two at the same time?
