Actually, not so. During the 'penalty charges' cases of recent years, several times the banks 'forgot' to pay up after a claimant obtained judgment by default. The bailiffs were brought in to the branch on at least one occasion that I'm aware of personally, and the bank promptly settled their debt. Fun times. :D :p

EDIT: Oh for... lol Yes, beaten. BringTheRain, it's true - that bailiff story I mean. I was involved in the cases at the time (working with Stephen Hone, the solicitor trainee who set the whole movement off), and this episode provided great delight to the team!
 
I would give you the money personally just to see you try.

I would love to walk into my local branch of Lloyds or NatWest and ask for my money back! :D

WTF :) I wanna try it with MacDonald's, and go behind the till's and just start eating Mcnuggets while rolling around in BBQ sauce :D
