OK I just fitted my scrylic side panel to my antec 300 and fitted some green tubes :D very Chav lol. Actually looks really cool and pleased with the look but loosing the side input fan has caused my GPU temps to go from 80c max to 93c max !!!!!!!!! thats 13c more lol and 93 is just too hot for my liking, Apart from cutting a hole in the side and fitting a fan any other options ? bar a water loop lol. I was thinking of cutting the PCI slots out on the back of the case below the GPU and fitting a 90mm intake fan there ? seems that side fan was really providing some decent cooling to the 480, trouble is i really like the look of it without a fan in the side lol, the two front "in fans" are on idle pretty much for noise maybe i should get a fan controller and have them so i can wind them up to pump more fresh air in ?

I know the Coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced comes with a Graphics card support arm like this:
HERE
Which enables a 80mm fan to be fitted for extra cooling.
Not seen anything similar to this for any other case though.

I have seen people suspend a fan using wire to get more air to the card too.

OK in BBC2 its maxing at 80 still its only in OCCT that it hits 90+ so its not the end of the world. I might try running a Duct from a bay to the card to supply Cool air, cheers for the suggestions. It might even be time to replace my trusty 300,

You could actually maybe open up that slot cooler, rotate the fan so its sucking in from the outside and blowing at the GPU.

sounds good, but not sure if that will fit in an Antec 300? as far as I'm a aware its a 120mm rear fan in there and not much more width to the case, thats a 140mm fan on that cooler, pretty sure 120mm versions are available though...

edit: actually looking at a picture of the back of the case you might fit it in, worth a measure though if you do want to go with that one.

OK im going to try the 140 with the fan tuned round lol as suggested.

Also in answer to questions on what fans i have they are

2 X 120mm fans at front blowing in
1 X 120mm fan at rear top blowing in though the H50 with another 120mm puller on ther too
1X 140mm fan at the top exhausting
1 X 140mm fan in the PSU exhausting

I will report back, If it works i will post a little Guide on what i done and i will make sure that i let ppl know it was your grey matter that thought of it :D

lol ok well not guide but little report lol, im really hoping "feeding" the front of the GPU with cool air will made a fair difference. you watch now i bet that thing is spot welded shut or something Stupid lol
