With the rather impressive new X-Meridian and a decent range of EAX 5 cards, I'm struggling to figure out why no one in the UK is stocking them. Overclockers is listed as a stockist, but I haven't seen one here for a while.

Any update on the situation with these? As far as I'm concerned Asus and Auzentech are the only decent sound card manufacturers currently in the mass market.

I know it's difficult to get past the dislike for Creative (which they fully deserved) but the recent Titanium HD has great reviews and earned a good reputation amongst users. I think that would be my first choice of discrete soundcard for gaming, but for music I might be inclined to go for one of the external DACs that are available.

I'm not denying it's possibly a good card. But I don't trust the fact that Creative will provide fully functional (and relatively problem free) drivers for it when the next version of Windows is released or any other future large OS changes.

My XFi Fatality suffers from volume fluctuations, occasional instability and limited features in any OS newer than XP. Considering it was released not long before Vista, that is just unacceptable.

Auzentech Xfi forte here, had no problems with it so far. I noted that OCUK did stock their products then one day they were gone. I haven't seen them since.

it is a problem, I spent the big bucks on an Elite Pro and wasn't happy with Vista either. It is the thought of being screwed over with poor or non-existent Windows 8 drivers that makes me doubt the Titanium HD & X-Fi HD cards, because they look really good otherwise :(

Auzentech XFI Forte here as well. Fantastic card with really good sound using my trusty old Z680's ! I too also wish more people stocked Auzentech cards but for some reason they don't  Overclockers. Is there a reason why you guys don't stock this make no more ?

Prices pocketed on Auzentech cards a while ago and several UK suppliers dropped them as a result.

I'm running a Prelude. Very happy with it and it solved a few problems I was having with Creative cards.
