RE: Nedal/Digging Arse

I think it has just become part of his routine now to rummage through his arse. He could still pull any woman he wants, bum rummaging or not

Except my missus, who cant stand him because..and I quote "jesus christ, look at him, every time..fingers up his arse, adjust his shirt collar, push an imaginary hair behind each ear, touch his chin, bounce the ball 12 times and then serve, cant stand the bloke".

(Her tennis beau would be Boris Becker, shes always liked him :) )

Nadal wins in four 7-5, 7-6, 5-7, 6-1.

Federer's very best on clay just isn't good enough to beat Nadal and it never will as long as Nadal stays fit. If it wasn't for him Federer would've won the tournament 4 or 5 times and be considered alongside Borg as the greatest clay court player.

Congratulations to Nadal on his 6th French Open, I started watching it earlier and then remembered why I don't tend to watch his matches. He's a fantastic player but I just don't like watching him and I can't even quantify it properly why. There's nothing about his play I find inspiring - it's brutally efficient and sometimes exceptional in what he returns but it does nothing for me as it's just a bit metronomic.

The difference between the two is Nadal takes his chances while Federer doesn't, on some fairly simple points today Federer played the wrong shot which let Nadal back in, especially in the first set, if he wins that it goes to five sets and it makes things very interesting.

I don't think there is much between the top three at all, Nadal though has age on his side and you can see him getting 20+ slams.

Nadal just made less unforced errors. He's very consistent. Djokovic, if anyone, imo has the game to beat Nadal on clay.

Murray played very well against Nadal.

Nadal has age but the type of game he plays takes a lot out. So the question is how long can he sustain it? Quite long so far.

Federer on grass in this form will be a joy to watch.

I think the stat was something like 53 winners and 53 unforced errors from Federer, that's just not good enough, but saying that he was very unfortunate not to take it to 5 sets, if he could cut them errors down he'd certainly win more majors, it seems to be the same story every time he plays Nadal though.

Yeah hopefully Federer carries this form into Wimbledon, he'll be very difficult to beat if he does, and also brilliant to watch.

Unlucky Fed, though with these two I honestly don't mind who wins. All the top four are equally likeable.

Fed probably doesn't have the same enthusiasm about him when he was younger, he's won them all.

I've always thought Nadal is trying to lap up every tournament he can until he himself is beaten by how physical he's plays. Unless somebody amazing comes along (doubt it, it's tennis), they're probably both going to retire with a similar number of grand slam wins. They're so far ahead of everybody else that bad month still usually means at least a semi or final for either.

Hopefully Murray can get to a final at Wimbledon now. :p
