Has anyone replaced there HTC desire housing ??

I need to replace the housing on my HTC desire..

Has anyone here replaced there's and know how easy or hard it is to replace ??

Also do anyone have any links to websites showing how to replace it ???

As my HTC desire housing has got a little bit worn out

Jeez what have you been doing with it?? Ive dropped mine countless times and only have a bit of wear in the top corner.

Provided you can follow instructions, it should be pretty easy to do.

However, the big question has to be, how the hell did you do that?

I looked into taking my other half's Desire to bits after dropping it down a drain, there were some faint water marks after I dried it out on the inside of the screen.

I came away thinking no way would I bother, it looked like a nightmare.

Tidy it up as best you can and scrap it to one of those phone recycling sites.

Then get a new phone.

Actually, I like this idea

Just keep it for a while then do this. Most of the sites will not classify a phone as "non-working" if they are massively scuffed up; only when there are cracks in the casing and the like.

That desire has had a pretty hard life. Mine is probably over 12 months old and still looks new :confused:

You would think this wouldn't you. What a waste of money. Smartphones are not toys and still require to be looked after properly.
