Hi,

I'm looking for SLI-ready motherboards for a I5-2500K build,
Just wondering what the major differences are between these two boards:

MSI P67A-GD53
ASUS P8P67 PRO

Apart from the Asus having bluetooth, I can't really see much of a difference. Will both of these board be able to accomodate 2 gpu's in SLI just as well? Are any of the Asus' added features (like Turbo Boost Technology 2.0) actually useful, or just toys for enthusiasts?

Any personal recommendations from owners of either of these?

Asus had troubles at first but haven't heard many complaints recently but I'm still put off recommending them - I wouldn't recommend against them though - but that particular board, though it does support SLI, it will only run at x4 speeds, where as the MSI and most over SLI-compatible boards will run at x8.

For that sort of price range the Gigabyte Z68MA-D2H could be an option too @ £110.

It is an mATX sized board though and doesn't have as many USB ports but still supports SLI and has 6 SATA ports, so is a very capable board.

Here is a good comparison of the 1155 boards that you might wanna check out if you haven't seen it already:)

I think the P8P67 PRO has x8x8 - perhaps you're thinking of the standard P8P67? Yeah, I'm not considering that one for that very reason.

Thanks for the link! (although the spreadsheet gets cropped in my browser for some reason)
