just got burnt by my mate on my leg and it stank well bad haha! he then said its different for everyone but its not no matter whos hair u burn it always smells the same why is that? lol

random question is random!

take a magnifying glass out into your garden in the summer and use it to burn an ant it fricking stinks of death lol.. you wouldnt think such a small insect could create such a stink

Do you squat before taking each step while walking, to look closely to ensure you don't kill any precious ants with your stride?

Hardly the same thing as taking a magnifying glass to purposely burn the critter is it?

Most people got this out of their system a long time ago.

What?? I just find going out with a magnifying glass for the intention of burning individual ants a little weird.
Oh. Totally misinterpreted that illiterate emoticon there. I thought you thought that killing an ant was like throwing a cat in a dustbin. :p

It's not just human hair that smells bad when burnt, I'd rather suspect it's a common property to all hair. Maybe it's even just a property of keratin since that's what hair mainly consists of.

I absolutely love the smell of burning hair. I also love the smell of burning fingernail and burning skin (not unexpected as it's essentially the same). As a kid I was attacked by someone who'd lit an aerosol can spray in my face. No long term damage thankfully, but the smell is one I really like oddly. I used to keep my hair when I was at the barbers, keep my nail clippings and used to bite the skin off at the edges of my fingernails so that I could burn them. Most people think I'm odd. I'm inclined to agree, but I can't help it.

After the attack I remember walking to a crematorium specifically to see if I could smell them burning the bodies as I expected that to be the most awesome smell in the world. Thankfully no smell was experienced and even I think that was a little extreme/creepy/psychotic!
