catastrophically mediocre cpu cooler

i cant see the point in buying an outrageously specced overclocking motherboard and then restricting its capabilities with that
 
I couldnt afford a full water cooling setup at the point I bought the stuff... The antec was sufficient for my needs and I can get a decent overclock with it. It was only hitting around 50 something degrees at the moment on full load with prime95 CPU only test at 4.4ghz.

I could probably push it further, but I didnt see the point right now. When I buy stuff I tend to get the best I can within my budget, the cpu cooler seemed the best part to go easy on so I could get the the other parts. This is by no means a "mediocre" cooler. If anything I would have complained about the psu....

Why limit the potential of the setup with a poor performing board?

I dont think the graphics card was white, I think it was silver but ill double check :P

Wow that case looks amazing!

I am seriously tempted by it. Bad news is I will need some more spare cash to fill it up with shiny new components :p
 
Only because I removed the DVD drive in that pic, it sort of balances on it :D

As soon as I set up PP on the top rad that won't be a problem :)
 
Will do, I'm getting some mayhems dye and a couple of cold cathodes to celebrate if and when Msi replace my magical exploding motherboard! :)
