Clothes ripping

Over the past month, I’ve had two pairs of shorts rip on the bum area just off the middle seam and I can’t understand why. The shorts fitted my perfect and weren't too small. Today, I’ve just noticed a rip in my replay jeans just off the seam on the bum area. This is driving me crazy. Does anyone know what the cause of this could be?
