joke made by my examinations officer today....

Hello,

I just wanted to share the joke that my examinations officer said in my biology exam today.

FIRST OF ALL I'D LIKE TO SAY. I know that this could be considered racist, and i apologies if i am not allowed to post it here, and will remove it IMMEDIATELY if thats the case.

anyways:

today in my biology exam, the examinations officer was reading out the names for the register

when she came to the Chinese students, she was saying names such as (not real names from today)

si chong lee
ying sang chong
wan ying lee
sin yang wan
yan wong sen

etc

then when she finished the list, she goes

'corr its like ordering a bloody takeaway' :rolleyes:

Now the whole exam room was ****ing themselves, including the examiners. (also the Chinese students were too)

the examinations officer, bless her, didnt know what shed said!

but yeh, could she get 'done' for saying something like that?

AGAIN, sorry if this is not suitable, i will remove if this is the case

err id say shes the higher end of middle aged, and yeh pretty out of touch, he voice is also about 7 octaves higher than normal... :L

If anyone cared to take it that far then she might be in some sort of trouble - I'd suspect a reprimand and being asked to take a diversity awareness course although I don't know fully what the situation is in employment terms for invigilators.

Maybe it's one of those things where being there made it funnier, any sort of joke or even just a slightly inappropriate comment in an exam hall is liable to seem a whole lot more humourous as it breaks the tension.
