New company car, no idea what to choose!

A completely rough working for the BMW is £2,363 cost @ 40%, or £1,182 @ 20%. Although that is rough and by no means accurate.

I couldn't really get a 3 door car as it's just hassle with the kids. I think the 318i is the top end of my limit really and was just looking at that one :)

Well, no doubt the BMW brigade will be along soon and can tell you much more than me! :p

Haha, that X6 is a legendary company car. It's not even a diesel, it's the 3 litre twin turbo petrol :D:D:D

Best car on that list in your price range is the Skoda Superb.

Well from what I was told I can expect to be doing 2-3k miles a month so lots of motorway travel and I'm quite a big bloke so don't want a tiny little car :p

When I saw the list of cars the first thing I thought was, phone interview. Surely they can't have seen the size of the fat *******! ;)

My second thought was they have seen you and the eco cars are to carry your lunch? :p

Lol shut up you! :p

It looks like they may have told you to expect a band above this as a rough price for a 118d would be just a bit higher than the band of cars you can get new. I'd at least be asking why you were told a ~118d range and got a lesser selection.

I'd go for the superb too, plus if you don't get on too well you only have to drive it for a year.

Yeah this is my plan, I can't really do anything until I start next week so I'll wait until then and either hopefully get a different selection of new cars or I'll go from one off that reallocation list.

Phone up early and say you want to start the paperwork with the lease co early. I see a company car as part of my benefits/wages/perks pack tbh so I'd feel like they had short changed me by pulling this.
