I built it.
You built the OP's rig?
All maintenance, diagnostics and repairs are down to you then.
You have to accept responsibility for your actions![]()
ofcourse! I told him to start a thread here before returning to me for a fix. This isn't the first time he's thought there were problems!
Besides, I did tell him it's his responsibility but i'll help when needed.
Everyone I build a PC for (free of charge with my old parts) seems to think they have a lifetime parts and labour guarantee.

I get an error saying
"USB Device over Current Status Detected !!
System will shut down after 15 seconds"
and it asks me to go into bios but when I turn the PC on the DEL key doesn't go to bios :/
Type up a very brief contract stating that you aren't obliged to help and make them sign it. You can still offer help, but at your discretion. Or just say no.![]()
Doing a windows automatic system repair now, I've set up the bios which seems to be working
Windows isn't starting up :/
I could try a reinstall but that would lose all my data and on my slow internet that is unbelievably boring waiting for my games to download from steam. My 40gb/month data cap doesn't really help either :/
I think I have to do a reinstall
stop bitching about it and upgrade
*claps extremely sarcastically*
It's not my choice about the internet.
Windows says "Windows cannot be installed to Disk 0/1 Partition 1/2" and I can't format the disks :/
EDIT: 'Show details' says "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks."
EDIT: Another site suggested going into the BIOS and changing the disc from EFI to a normal CD/DVD icon
It's installing now I changed the BIOS
