Hi Guys,

My PC has developed a random BSOD which can literally be at any time. Most ive seen it was exiting a game, while the computers idle and during a game.

The most recent BSOD was:

dxgmmsl.sys 0x00000D1

So I ran ATi tool and was presented with this image after a small run:

Now the card displays no errors in games. Im also running the latest drivers. I will be running memtest later tonight to test my RAM.

Any thoughts?

Matt

1 - If you have fraps or any other monitoring program then turn them off.

2 - Under clock the card and see if the problem goes away

3 - Give the core more voltage and see if it sorts the problem

4 - Un-install then re-install drivers

*Ok the card is clean no dust. Its always been kept clean and idle/load temps are very good.
*I cant adjust the voltage on my Sapphire card.
*The RAM Passed a 6 hour memtest.

Tonight I will roll back on drivers and test whether ATI tools does the same. The image that ATI tools rendered I take it that isnt normal?

I will also tomorrow sit the card in my server and run the same test.

Ok I thought id revive this thread as im still having lots of issues.

List is endless:

*Long pause during Windows 7 boot up.
*Can BSOD during full screen applications. So watching a youtube vid or watching a video.
*Excessive hard drive usage causing spotify to freeze or skip, firefox shows the same symptoms.

PC is virus free and all updated. Ive tried to run WD tools but the windows version and the dos version just crashes or fails to load.

Any help would be lovely as I cant seem to track the fault down.
