Doctor Who

both the master and the doctor have a watch.

they don't hide a part of themselves so they can avoid death they point their time lord part and their memories in it and become human so they can't be detected.

thought of that but I think he stared to regenerate before being shot again? (which the flesh would not do)

You can't make those kind of assumptions though.

The thing that's bothering me is that we know The Doctor who gets shot is about 200 years older than our Doctor. I can't see them skimming through 200 years in the second half of the season.

The only thing I can think is that The Doctor will get stranded 200 years before Utah, but again I can't see how that would work out without a lot of skimming.

Why a space suit though, I don't get that.

I was chatting with my mate about this - theres no way the BBC want Doctor Who dead so those future events I think will never be shown (or will be many many series later).

And for that event to even take place must mean they never retrieve the baby which is what I think River referred to in her voiceover 'Doctor will never rise so high and fall so low'. So I honestly think this series will end with them making an attempt and failing at getting the baby and the likehood of Amy and Rory parting ways (temporarily methinks) with the Doctor...

How they work the story arc after that is anyones guess - but surely River will stop saying spoilers if its her life on the line? Though they do have the reliance of timey wimey answer to cover any obvious gaps regards to her sharing that knowledge...

ps3ud0

Actually, I think you might be on to something with this.

Remember the very first episode of the series, where Amy and Rory kept seeing the Doctor pop up throughout history, as though he was trying to get their attention?

That made no sense to me, as the doctor has a TARDIS - If he wants to see Amy, all he has to do is go and see her, whenever. However, if he's trapped on Earth for 200 years, without the TARDIS, suddenly it's a lot harder for him to speak to them, isn't it? So suddenly all that stuff makes a bit more sense.

I thought he was just doing that stuff for the giggles to be honest.

Well the Doctor has been cast since the beginning of the show exclusively as a male. Having a female time lord on the scene does make things interesting. They could just kill off the male doctor and hand over the tardis to River, since the doctor isnt his real name. We know how River dies, but have no idea how old she was.

The Silence come back in it for the 13th episode, and probably the 12th aswell, and its got something todo with that skeleton hand and dying Sonic Screwdriver me' thinks

Well we've had female time lords as the Drs companion before, Romana being the most prominent of course.

I had a wierd dream last night...

Can't remember exactly how it started but it consisted of Rory fighting with the Doctor and River about the baby in an old castle.... Rory managed to take the baby and run, picking up a gun dropped on the floor on the way. The Doctor and River then confront him again and Rory has to shoot River, injuring her and then shoots the Doctor, killing him. River then shoots Rory dead...

All this time I was actually dreaming that it was the best episode ever, totally shocking... :p

I actually woke up thinking that was what had happened... Erm, not sure the producers of Dr Who would commit suicide quite like that though...

Their heads were cut off right from the base of their neck and twizzled so I wanna know how they made war chants if they had no vocal cords.....

Seeing how Matt Smith has signed up for another 14 episodes after this season I dont think the doctor will be dropping down dead any time soon. I'm sticking by my theory it's the ganger who gets killed, especially now the doctor knows that he gets killed and what the purpose of River song is.

Well, you never know, with moffet wanting to not have a series next year and just have two 'specials' like in tennant's last year, it is quite possible that things could get very sour in the near future.

I'm still sort of wishing for my ending... It was totally epic and emotional... :p

Has everyone forgotten that the Ganger was liquified at the end of the episode? Unless there is another one created there isn't another Ganger of him around.

Did the Doctor not say it may not necessarily be the end of them after they were liquified?
