Metro Last Light

2033 is one of only a handful of games I've completed more than once - Mass Effect 1 & 2 and Xcom: Enemy Unknown being the others.

Absolute masterpiece of a game and incredible on ranger hardcore.

Can't wait for this.

Graphics and Gameplay wise looks like more of the same....which means it should be bloody good as they will have been concentrating on the story again woop! If its only half as engrossing as the first it will still be a great game.

I was like 'Hell Yes!' when they announced it for Wii U then I was like wait I will still be getting it for PC... :p

I can't even play STALKER: Call of Pripyat or Metro 2033 on high settings on my current rig, so I've got no chance for this. :(

Just can't afford an upgrade :(

Oh dear I bought metro 2033 I gave it a little go really only testing the limits of my rig. Now I gave it another go and I am amazing at how good this game is. The graphics that set the mood, the style, the atmosphere, the gameplay, the mechanics, how guns handle, dialog, voice acting, I love that I am not a rambo and can't just kill everyone, I have to sneak around, pick people one by one, be very tactical about it. Loved finding night vision goggles, shooting lights everywhere and coming up behind in the dark (with night vision) and killing bad guys with a knife. Also I am playing in russian and on ranger easy mode so I wouldn't even have enough bullets to take on every single bad guy.

It is such a good game!!!! I look forward to it more than any other game and I am so looking forward how will they manage to improve graphics, the game is gorgeous as it is.

I preordered the first and although it was a decent game and I played it all the way through, I was seriously underwhelmed by the surface levels which I found bland and repetitive throughout. I also completed it before ranger mode DLC came to the PC so sadly had to go through the game with enemies that took insane amounts of damage to actually die, which took a lot of the shine off the game for me personally. I hate games where the weapons you have feel pretty damn useless.

However, had a quick go on my new rig on the ranger mode and thought it was pretty good. 1 Pistol round to the face of the starting creatures puts them down straight away, although ammunition is severly limited all of the time, which kinda adds to the gameplay.

If this one has that ranger mode built into it from the off and the surface environments are more detailed and interesting, I'll definitely buy it. If neither are in it, I'll most likely wait for a steam sale.
