Just double-checking what buying an OEM-listed soundcard would mean - is it just the usual no driver CDs and such or...? Seeing as the OEM version of the cards are cheaper. :P

Is that

No Box, manual, CD and accessories are included? ie Just the bare card.

or

You don't get a Box but you do get the Manual, CD and Accessories with it wrapped up in shrink wrap up something?

If you get an OEM Creative soundcard, be careful cos in the past OEM drivers for the cards can be an arse. If it comes with a CD, keep it safe.

Some OEM Creative cards were/are used in brand name machines like HP, I dont think the Creative website supports OEM drivers, just retail ones.

So for example, an OEM Creative card you buy without a CD or if you lose it, chances are you 'could' get working drivers off of HP's website.

I had this with an OEM card, it was basically an X-fi Music card but drivers from the creative website gave me BSOD. I 'had' to use the drivers from the CD that came with it.
