100% confirmed I am installing mine from DVD right now 6146Mb local install then whatever the extra data Steam will download.

to be fair i was looking forward to this but now seeing it its pony in my opinion..

I almost kind of feel sad, the most famous game vapourware finally gets released. It’s a bit like an end of an era. The on the horizon release of DN is something (I would think) all of us have followed since it was first announced. What was dev time ? 12 years ?

The only good Duke Nukem games were the platformers. Duke Nukem - Episodes 1,2 & 3 and Duke Nukem 2 - Episodes 1,2 & 3.

It all went crap when it went 3D, and DNF looks just as terrible

This has been my worry for some time, because they've had to continually upgrade the engine it looks dated

Probably if you played it subsequently, I got it when it came out and I thought it was amazing single and multi player.

I played it so many times. I never ever did play manhatten project though. Was it any good?

The duke games I enjoyed the most were on the N64 with the original duke 3D game which had tonnes of extra's and slightly better graphics (vastly better explosion effects + local coop etc) then zero hour which was 3rd person and just superb. The apocalypse level where your in a large city which has nuclear fallout which looks like snow and you enter a hotel filled with zombies was just epic. The sense of scale that game had was impressive for the time, loved it
