Depends if you thing the BBC remit is worth it. If you removed license fee you would have to remove the remit which guarantees the BBC does x,y,z. So it's no where as easy as saying fees or adverts.

Anyway no.

I pay the license fee because I hate watching TV with adverts. Hate it. Channels in the UK that have advertising are getting worse. And 100+ channels dedicated to advertising? **** that.

I also hate advertising on the internet. Anyone else remember the days you could visit a website for information and it was all contained on one page and there wasn't an advert to be seen.

The reason I listen to BBC Radio and TV is often due to the lack of ads. Personally, I'd much prefer paying the licence fee.

Definitely not. There are what 999 other channels you can watch if you want adverts.

Remember f1 on itv. What a sham.

I hate my son watching anything but the BBC kids channels as well because of the adverts.

I'd rather pay for good quality content (and no ads)... sadly the BBC is somewhat varied on that aspect, far too often theres just nothing I'm interested in.

Not really a fan of adverts. I feel it ruins a TV program, imagine Doctor Who with adverts in  It's awful to watch on like "Watch"

I can't stand adverts. I mainly record everything on the Humax box and watch it later so I can skip through adverts :D

Channel 5 have to be the worst... 5 minutes into a program and it goes to an ad break! On this basis I don't mind paying the licence fee for the BBC channels :D

As long as they don't interrupt iPlayer programmes to show adverts then I couldn't care less. 99.99% of the BBC's programming is of no interest to me whatsoever.

I dont mind this so much. You find it a lot on American TV shows.

It means that you get a short intro and then a sold chunk of show before the end/mid break.
