Oh %£$% just bought an MR2 Turbo!

Haha thanks. mod honestly none planned yet. The apex intake and exhaust look and sound so good. Maybe refresh suspension, rear arb. also a turbo timer and blow off valve maybe!

But i did a bit of brown stuff out when i floored it on the test drive. its quick enough for me as is.

Oh yea i doubtt i will de tang i quite like the orange and the Jim yellow fog is a possibility.

The trc was an option on later mr2 i think. not many rev have it but a.lot of rev 5 do. it is a proper Toyota one as far as i can tell.

Any thoughts on vgs car warranty guy said he will throw in 3 months 4* cover.
anyone have experience with it?

Like most aftermarket warranties it's probably not worth the paper it's written on, they will most likely do their best to wriggle out of any claim you make.

Nice pretty standard example. I've owned mine over 5 years, it's never broken down on me and it's fairly modified now as far as bolt ons are concerned (312hp).

Don't bother with a turbo timer, pointless. The mod you should consider is either a mbc or ebc and remove the stock tvis system to get full boost in 1st and 2nd gears. Completely different beast then, but I would get used to the car first!

Very nice car :)

I have a rev 1 N/A though not as nice condidtion as yours, can't really complain for the 1k I payed for it. :p

It is a 1995 but on an n Reg so it its a late 95 so missed out those revisions. keep throwing these things in though i can always double check before i buy...

As i say ganesh i small new to the mr2 scene, if you know of anything i desperate need to check just dhshout as ill be going tomorrow morning to conclude all going well.

Remember, rev3-5 are ~245bhp standard. With an induction kit, a full 3" exhaust (Inc decat) and slightly more boost via an ebc or mbc, you'll be in ~270 territory. Boost controller with the removal of the boost limiter for the lower gears is one of the most significant performance gains you'll see at this stage.

Mine has a gt28rs turbo, larger IC, full 3" turbo back exhaust, induction kit and an EBC and it made 312bhp/308lb/ft at 0.95 bar boost on the standard ecu, fuel pump and injectors FYI.

They certainly are a lot if performance for the money, enjoy it :)

Very nice looks very clean Turbo-G. I like the wheels too. I take it you have had it lowered?

how does the underside at the back look, is it expected that some bits will be a bit rusty around the rear ARB for instance?
