have bought an OCZ agility 3 60GB last week and sadly I had to return it due to having cold boot issues(and possibly ssd dying on me!) I have asked for a refund and my account says "outcome : refunded" - (Quickly tested OCUK! )
I have been put off by this issue but I would like to think this is a one off event if you guys can assure me further?
Should I order another OCZ Agility 3 60Gb drive and see if it works? or do you recommend not using SATAIII drives in my PC(sig below) even if OCZ product description says it is backward compatible with SATAII?

How about the compatibility with SATAIII addon cards in OCUK?

Asus U3S6 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...=49&subcat=424 or
Startech 2-Port SATA III http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...=49&subcat=424 or
Highpoint RocketRAID620 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...=49&subcat=424

Do you know if any one of them will work with the above SSD in my PC?

I doubt that running it in SATAII will make it unusable, realistically the one thing it might do is saturate 3Gbps, which isn't a big deal.

If you're looking for a place to spend money, upgrade that PSU before it blows.

I think my mobo is showing its age a lot now :)
I only have PCI-E ver 1.1 and dont think PCI-E 1.1 @ 1x slot will cut it for the SATAIII card at the rated speeds of the SSD. It may be the same as running on SATAII.

I may have to get a C300 64Gb or Vertex 2E 60Gb.
Thank you every one for the input!
