Does anyone know of any mountain bike shows that are on tv? I used to watch some years ago on channel 4 (back when steve peat was riding for GT), mainly downhill but varied to trials n jumps a little bit. I looked through a lot of the sports channel on sky and couldn't find a thing.

Watch this in about an hour or so.
It's the Lesbians first, then the guys a bit later, so times will get faster and they will start showing more of the track

Is freecaster as useless for everyone else or just me?

Even on SD quality it has to buffer all the time, if I leave it a couple of minutes and come back it's exactly the same, ffs!

What brakes are you guys running on your HT's? Need to get rid of my Juicy7's. They're over kill.
 
Newb question.

I have a trek 4500 which doesn't have disk brakes, but does have the fittings for them.

Due to my bulk I've never had huge confidence in my rear brakes, and after a few too hairy moments yesterday involving steep hills and no rear brakes (eeeekkk!), I'm willing to upgrade the rears to some nice hydraulics.

So, if I say I have £100 to spend, what would be the best value for money brakes to go for? And as I'm probably going to fit them myself, which would be the easiest? (I'm leaning towards shimano? but which model, there seems to be hundreds). I'm assuming that I also need to go for as large a rear disc as possible to help stop my 19st?

Any advice, hints or tips greatfully received.

Quick question. My boardman hybrid apparently has these on at the moment: Vittoria Zaffiro 700x28c rigid black

I'm wanting some good white tyres to replace them that are just as slick (just to look better with the bike). Any suggestions guys? Aslong as they're as good or better to these I don't mind.

Also could I fit 700x23c on my bike? What's the differnece just thinner?
