Hoping this is a matching card.

I bought this one from OCUK http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-248-AS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1752

I bought one more from random shop

I may be being really thick here, but surely it's the product numbers that are matching, which should be the case since they are the same product. The serial numbers seem vastly different, if they were matching wouldn't the serial numbers be sequential?

If the numbers are sequentially allocated then there's only 500 or so numbers between the two cards. That's hardly anything.

I think you might be on to a winner there.

Of course the proof is always in the pudding so get unlocking, ensuring you have the dual bios switch first.

REV1 and REV2. I was hoping a code on there would mean REV1

Idealy the A01 or 01

I'll see i can flash it tomorrow. It does have the BIOS switch but weather thats on them all or not i do not know

OCuk card was born, 500 later out popped your random shop.

Both made by asus, why would they not match?

You don't know about the story of MSI 6950 Twin Frozr III? There's a big difference between rev1 and rev2 of that non-ref card. rev1 could be unlocked, while rev2 can no longer.
