Hello people, looking to build myself a new computer as I'm getting pretty wound up by my current one as it’s a few years old now and starting to show its age.

I'm after something that will play games to a decent standard, these being Skyrim and BF3 I expect and a healthy dose of FIFA too, apart from that it'll be playing films and music, maybe a bit of work from home but not if I can help it!

I already have a wireless card, keyboard, mouse and screen. Everything else will need to be new, oh and an operating system will be needed. I have roughly 500-600 max. Looking to order later on today or tomorrow, I think the weekly offers start tomorrow? Can wait till then no worries. Does this sort of budget seem reasonable?

Anyway, thanks in advance.

Warmest regards yeah,

Thumbitin

Just a tiny bit over budget. What resolution are you gaming at?

Options applied to the above product:

If there's anything you can recycle from you old build then that should bring costs down a bit.:)

Not the greatest price for the graphics card seeing at its on offer very regularly and has been as low as £100 which is a complete bargain. If you can stretch just a bit further then the 5870 is a great card, alternatively wait to order gfx card when when the this week offers are refreshed.

Might well be able to re-use DVD drive, it would probably be better to have as much new as possible? Will end up breaking my old one and selling the parts, so should be able to recoup a few quid :)
