also when using vechicles you can level up with that vechicle, which means added machine guns, missile launchers etc

I presume you mean something akin to the secondary fire perk in BC2? Or when I plat out my tank will it have three rotating barrels that shoot 50 rounds/s :p

hehe well I dont know for certain, this is just going on details that I read in a preview.

But yeah by the sounds of things as you level up with certain vehicles, you will get access to things like coaxial machine guns/smoke launchers etc.

Im sure nothing too op, will probably also get things like improved armour/targetting etc, rather than just a shed load of machine guns ^^

I like the premise tho! cause currently I find it hard picking other vechicle "perks" due to me loving the secondary fire so much.

Is it cynical of me to suspect that the whole BF3 vs MW3 smack talk from the companies is similar to what you get in wrestling? It sounds impressive but its all completely made up?

Yeah Dg, but what your missing is, techincally COD could be a flop, sure it will sell by the bucket load, but it could be the end of the franchise if the game isnt upto par.

Its not being developed by Infinity Ward, so its entirely possible that this new company will screw it up.

Either way they arnt getting my money this year!

BF3 all the way :)

wont be getting mine for first time ever

ill be getting bf3 and thats it.

was going to get red orc 2 but they been so slow and no videos or anything of late even though its supposed to be soon also wasnt at e3 .

there is supposed to be some videos in next two weeks so well see.

only bf3 is on my shopping list though at moment :p

RO2 is a must buy for me aswell, I have had so many hours worth of play out of the first one that I have to buy the 2nd.

MW3 just has no place on my list, if it was coming out before BF3... maybe, but with BF3 coming out first, it will fullfill my need for large scale vechicular warfare :)

Anyone else find it ironic that its called Modern Warfare, yet its still using a modified quake 3 engine? :)

After BC2 im definately waiting for the beta before pre-ordering this, bc2 still has things in it unfixed since release. Would be nice this time around if tanks shells didn't have to enter an infantrymans anus to actually kill them, mainly due to the near non existant splash damage. Bring back the Tank Battles from BF2 or GTFO

Q: Is the Physical Warfare Pack available in all regions, or just in the UK?
A: It will be available worldwide at select retailers. It was first announced in the UK. Exact details for other countries and retailers will be announced at a later date.

Q: Will Physical Warfare Pack imbalance the game?
A: The three exclusive items in the Physical Warfare Pack were specifically chosen not to be overpowered or imbalance or break the game in any way.

Q: Why do I want the Physical Warfare Pack?
A: Owning these items will give you a more varied arsenal, but it will not give you a significant advantage on the battlefield.

Q: Is the Back to Karkand expansion pack exclusive to pre-orders?
A: No. You can also buy it separately if you do not pre-order Battlefield 3. Back to Karkand will be available the exact same date after the launch of Battlefield 3 no matter if you pre-ordered or buy it separately.

Q: When will the Back to Karkand expansion pack be released?
A: We have not yet announced the Back to Karkand expansion pack release date.

Q: How much does the Back to Karkand Expansion pack cost?
A: We have not yet announced a price. However, it will be included in the Limited Edition at no extra charge.

Q: Do I have to choose between Back to Karkand and the Physical Warfare Pack as my pre-order bonus?

A: No. There is no way you can pre-order Battlefield 3: Limited Edition and not end up with the Back to Karkand expansion pack at no extra charge. On top of this, select retailers all over the world will carry the Physical Warfare Pack. Exact details for other countries and retailers will be announced at a later date.

Q: Why do you offer pre-order bonus items?

A: Because we believe in rewarding our core fanbase with special offers -- such as giving them the Back to Karkand expansion pack at no extra charge.

Pretty sure it does as the preorder has the older maps by default.

Nope. The Karkand Expansions is free if you pre-order the game. Or it's free after release if you buy the limited edition. Or you can pay for it after release if you buy the normal version of the game.

The Physical Warfare package is a store specific DLC that you can ONLY get by pre-ordering. It has a couple of guns and a silencer or something. According to EA the extra items are so good that it's worth us pre-odering, but they're so bad that it won't give anyone an advantage. Basically it's pointless.

So we probably won't be able to pre-order on Steam because they want us to either use Origins or hit the high street because the retailers are giving EA cash to include the Warfare Pack.

There's a DLC boycott initiative going on over at /r/Battlefield3. It's a pre-order and DLC boycott, not a game boycott. The idea is to cancel your pre-order and buy the game from a shop or on Steam on or after release day. Also to email various people at EA with an originally worded letter expressing your views on the matter, suggesting to them that you're cancelling your pre-order on the basis that store-exclusive DLC smacks of cooperate selling out.
