Is it any good or what?
I'm not interested in posting DVDs, I just want to stream the films. Are they HD quality? 720? 1080? Is there a minimum contract?
Anything you can tell me would be great :)

Was talking about this to someone today. Apparently the selection for streaming is really poor. Wether it will get better in future... Who knows..

We currently send our video at around 800kbit/sec. This was picked to be compatible with the majority of internet connection speeds in the UK. This figure is the amount of data transferred per second while watching the video. The lower it is the more we have to pack the video into smaller files and the more issues may arise. We will revise this over time as improvements are made in internet speeds but it does mean a quality comparable to a normal transmission of a television. Also some features – in particular Water, Fast Action and large blocks of colour - can have artefacts due to the limitations of encoding to this bit-rate

Really poor compared to iplayer etc tbh try a free trial and will let u stream vids after set up - within 8 hours for us

I've used iPlayer a bit recently but couldn't see the option to switch to HD. Annoyingly, it used to be there when I was on ADSL!!

I trialled the PS3 streaming solution, cancelled it due to awful sub youtube quality and rubbish selection.

Not really worth it for streaming, not many titles and quality not great, i am using them at the moment to watch series dvd's but will probably cancel it after.

It's still there at the end of the progress bar.

Hopefully tesco will drag love film forward. I thought they would be a lot more progressive. The quality isn't great at all. Companies need to get with the times. You wouldn't of thought they would have learnt from the music industry, but they haven't. It's not hard at all to over several qualities.

Also thinking of cancelling subscription, use to use them loads, think I've had my last 3 blu rays for about 6 weeks and at £15 a month, be cheaper just to use virgin on demand or buy on iTunes.

I was hoping there was a legit way of utilising my 30Mb cable connection :p

I've just watched a bit of Elizabeth something or other. Quality is terrible :(

Who cares? It's only a tenner and your money goes towards a good speed and retention, it's not as if your isp is going to have a hissy fit because you use rule one. Currently if I want a film, I just go to imdb and it takes two clicks to add it to my queue. Currently I have the priority of 1080P--> 720P--> 480P, a tenner for a mind blowing amount of content is a steal!
