Men on kids toys ... wtf?

I've often thought one of those electric skateboards would be ideal for commuting, it's such a shame the government don't legalise all these devices for use in cycle lanes/roads.
 
I wouldn't mind to be honest, car gets a bit boring but I can't see me fitting an ML350 server and tools on the back for work and it rarely stops raining in Scotland ;)

F-me! I've seen some super BMX skills but come on, do you seriously think it should be in the Olympics? .....obviously many do but I think it is a farce.

I also think that grown adults scooting along, be it on the road, pavement or a skate park looks ridiculous!

Have fun, do what you like but please don't ask anyone to take it seriously!



...... and, and .... if you wear your trousers below your arse cheeks you need to learn decency in public .... I don't want to see you *****y underwear!

Sure takes more skill and an equivalent level of fitness to say the running events. I think it makes a good Olympic sport.

Who cares what people think? It took me 30 mins to walk down a hill and 8 mins on a scooter.
 
It deserves to be in the olympics much more than a lot of sports. Running is one of the dullest sports to watch. Anything beyond the 800m is like watching paint dry. Im glad that bmxing is being included.

Kids today; no friggin idea .... just wanna do whatever they like without regard for us more sensitive souls ..;)

I didn't realize that scooters were something geeks would be into, but it sure looked like fun, albeit borderline dangerous fun, on the 25th floor of an office building in Manhattan...
