In nam ive brought down a few choppers with the m79 grenade launcher, theyre like flying barns due to the hitboxes on them.

Ive killed the pilot of an apache once in bc2 with the noob tube. Really weird to see a body just come flying out of a helicopter in mid air. 0_o

I can remember bringing down a blachawk on bf2 with an m203 gl many moons ago, it was hovering to drop people off. Launched the nade in through the cargo door and hit the inside roof. Very satisfying.

I really just hope that the coders of BC2 have been sat in a corner somewhere and told to look at a wall. If you look at the progression of vehicle mechanics from BF2 to bcV it really went down hill.

Even the decisions taken in bc2 baffle me, yeah this tracer dart can only magically be removed if you pop your countermeasures, yet an engineer somehow can't take it off...wtf. Musta been crack smoking week in dice when they came up with that. i still say make aircraft countermeasures work like sunbursts in Airwolf !

I also hope that the weapons are a bit more realistic, bit frustrating in bc2 when someone kills you from half way across the map with a submachine gun or shotgun. Theese are close range weapons, not full blown assault rifles. If i had shottys like the ones in bc2, i could shoot rabbits several fields away from my doorstep.

Yeah as fun as using slugs and magnum ammo to get shotgun headshots across the map is it is just a touch too unrealistic.

I want bayonets as a barrel attachment. That would make me very very happy.

Have you got a source for that info?

No way it'lll have a seperate option. It made sense for the BCV addon since it was basically a mod and had its own menu, new maps don't need it.

It's what was said in one or two videos (can't remember which, probably those awful streams they had that I was watching!). Definitely what was said though.

Here we go... he starts talking about it about 45 secs in.

It's like the 'Nam addon because it's not just maps...it's weapons, vehicles too.

EDIT: OK, he doesn't say exactly what I was posting but it's the impression I got. :)

It'll more than likely show up just as maps in the server browser id imagine. If theyve any sense that is.

Definately agree with this. Does anyone even play Vietnam anymore?

i only played it for a few days and didnt like it then regretted paying a tenner

I've never managed to kill/snipe a pilot of a chopper before. I just gave up after a while.

i did this once by accident with a GOL i was aiming for the gunner, havent tried it since cause i dont think ill be able do it again it was a lucky shot i guess lol

Why are EA so desperate to get pre-orders in for this game.

Is there some level of upper management that gets really anxious about making a profit if they don't meet their expected target of pre-orders.
