Japspeed subaru Stolen 11/06/11

id imagine a fair few coppers must have seen that car on the road, its about as inconspicuous as a bacon butty at a barmitzvah

almost as good as that thread years back where they found the skyline gtr in canada or something driven by the claw

great quote, and the skyline thread was waaaaay more exciting!

To be honest, sniping with an M249 belt fed support weapon with no mag or box mag attached, and clearing the breach beforehand, the film was never going to bide well.

And being from Brighton, and being half Chinese Malay, and having visited KL/Malaysia many a time - Malaysia has never ever been that gay.

ive been on fb today. turns out a couple friends who live local to me were around when the car was located, the group of them drove a few hundred miles to see if they could spot it

When they have gone to a level of making it as light as they can, the last thing they want to do is add more weight by fitting a tracker, which lets be honest is going to be easy for anyone to find.

Trackers are hardly heavy though? Just a small box and some wires surely?

The tracker is the easy bit (it's not a small as you think either): the power supply is a quite big and much harder to hide. To the point that many cars only have a handful of places to hide it (I found the one on my car by accident) and big-time thieves know where they are.

Plus in a stripped track car far less places to hide it.
