Marked/dirty glasses

When I clean my glasses, they always seem to get marked/dirty again relatively fast. I only use water and a standard glasses cloth though, is their a solution out there that I can apply to keep them cleaner for longer.

Any suggestions on what solution/type of cloth to buy for them?

Lens wipes. You can get 30 for a quid at Wilko's or wherever.

washing up liquid is what i use...

Thanks, never thought of that - Hopefully they'll stop the smearing.

Use Window cleaner on them. It works.

Specsavers sells a little spray for about £1. It is amazing and lasts forever.

Lint free cloth + lens cleaner works best for me.

Terrible idea. Washing-up liquid, and window cleaner, contains salt and degreasants that break down and scratch the surface of the lens.
