I completely agree with what they're trying to get a cross. You should be able to wear what you want and not have to worry about some nasty throw back pestering you, just because they can't control there hormonal urges.
It's not just hormonal though is it? It's instinctive, and dressing provocatively doesn't help the situation. Some common sense, restraint and decorum is called for on both sides of the argument.

I would like to think that man has evolved a lot since the days of clubbing a woman over the head and dragging them back to there cave for a good seeing to.

I guess not.

I watched without sound, didn't get the message.

Your posts seem to suggest its about stopping rape and promoting the fact that dressing sexually doesn't mean I want to be raped?

What on earth has that got to do with *****?

its women trying to claim the word **** back, i dont think it will work, shall we try and claim GAY back? after all it means happy, thats why homosexual people chose it, to try and soften the blow of being attracted to the same sex. ****, actually means and unruly or untidy woman, like GAY, nothing to do with sex.

The same things can apply to women. If you go around late at night getting drunk wearing slutty clothes that obviously garner a lot of attention for you (both good and bad no doubt), then you should realise that this is taking a risk. It doesn't mean you deserve to be raped, but it does mean that you're increasing the chances of the wrong kind of thing happening.

Unfortunately many of these people seem to think that being warned about the negative attention they may attract through dressing provocatively (it's surely called that for a reason) is sexism or telling them they deserve to be raped, which is completely untrue and wrong.
Actually from what I understand the issue that they're trying to point out is that the manner of your dress does not actually have an impact on the chances of a woman being raped, and such "advice" and "common sense" divert attention from the real causes and issues behind rape.

Of course rape is wrong. Unfortunately the line has become blurred and given my (very scary) example above, just shows how a man's life can be ruined because a woman can changed her mind half way through sex and the man didn't stop within 50 milliseconds.

I'm not saying this is a regular occurrence but the fact that it can and does happen scares the **** out of me. Don't get me started on disgruntled/crazy women who abuse this "power" just because they didn't like how they were treated by a man.

I think what women were really asking was "can ugly women who dress like ***** get laid?". The answer is still "possibly".

Homosexuals didn't "choose" the word gay to "soften the blow of being attracted to the same sex" (did you really write that?) at all; it was a pejorative that gained sway in the mid 20th century. It's originally French, and it's meaning has changed over the centuries from something light-hearted and merry, through to something being lascivious and promiscuous, to something undesirable, to offensive, and finally to a modernly acceptable term. Much like homosexuality itself.
