Best brand of super glue ?

Tiger seal is intended for cars, it's why bodyshops use it. Most pug owners will be familiar with the stuff, as they made use of it.

Superglue can melt some plastics, so always test a small amount there.

Personally i've used evo stik serious glue, to glue together three 120mm fans for a water build and it worked great.

Kinda like silicone only a sight harder, so you have a bit of give so the stuff keeps on sticking.

No one ever glues anything with PVA! They just coat everything in it and then have fun peeling it away when it dries a bit. Ah I miss being a kid :p

Ah school days,
"Hey look at this" > Starts to peel dried PVA off hands like it's skin trying to impress a school sweetheart

>School sweetheart runs away screaming :( Knew I should have tried kiss chase instead.

Pro tip, if you get glue on your fingers a. dont put your fingers together or b. scratch your eye lid.

Nothing worse than having to peel a finger off an eyelid or using a lot of hot water to get your fingers separated

Although any cyanoacrylate (super) glue that's designed for plastics should be fine, I often use general quick set two part glues as this can make the job so much easier and these are also better if some gap filling is involved.

In the past I used 5 minute two part glues, but now I find the 90 second set varieties excellent for tricky items to save time holding or securing, but you've got to plan how to put the bits together before mixing :D

For the money and it's application I agree, I have the Loctite Super Glue Precision infront of me and used it to repair my kitchen unit handles (metal), plastic trim on work desk, velcro onto guitar pedals.

For shoes I use 'Shoe Goo' - great stuff!
