About as safe as being female and in bed with Fred West.

I hate spiders and if anyone can invent enough gas to fire up into the sky that would kill all spiders (infact most insects) instantly, then id pay them.

I had one in my bedroom as a kid, it escaped one night and made a web from my pillow to the sidetable...my dad had to give it away as I was so freaked out.

I don't see the point in having spiders as pets, it's not as if they do much. If you had a collection of different species or something I could understand, but just one sole spider who just sits there all day waiting for you to feed it just seems pointless.

awesome spiders my old work mate has about 40 different spiders :eek:

his house is a spider shrine

for a few he has a special license i believe .

he mounts the skins they shed in like a frame look exactly like a real spider very good.

love the indian one very nice markings :cool:

awww man that reminds me of a Ren and Stimpy episode where Ren is on the toilot and a spider crawls from the bowl up his back. The quickly crawl's back down into the bowl. Even thinking about it gives me the chills

Why anyone would want that as a pet is beyond me. Fair enough if it liked being handled, but the fact that it's unfriendly and aggressive?? Screw that! It would be straight under my boot!
