Speed: Expected to reach a max airspeed of 130mph via a 115hp engine, it has a range of 90mi while carrying a max-weight 290lb rider, also what venues call Jessica Simpson's pre-show buffet contract.

Altitude: Rocking carbon-edged Tasmanian oak props in both the front and back, its upward thrust can bring you to theoretical max heights above 10000ft.

Why do i see that as soooo unsafe :D

Haha, i think a parachute may be needed!

Bad news if you run out of petrol on teh motorway :D

I'd really like that grating to go over the whole blade tbh!
To be honest i doubt that would be allowed on the motorway :p Also, would you actually want to go on a motorway when you have so much freedom! :D
That does actually seem like quite a good idea!

It's going to need some mad electronics and gps to keep that thing steady roll should be covered by the gyro effect, but pitch and height will need to be closely monitored and controlled. Perhaps gps for when you fancy going to the clouds, and lasers for when you want to follow roads. Probably gps to keep both rotors at the same height as each other too, or just a simple motion switch. Definitely doable. I bet people said the first helicopter was a mental idea.

Yup, that was my first thoughts too

That thought crossed my mind as well!

I can see from the pictures linked what allows this to hover but what propels it forward?

Much like a helicopter has blades that can turn to push air back as well as down, this will just be done by moving your body weight forward i imagine

I imagine that distributing your weight towards the front would propel you forward? I.e. point the nose down so the fans push air at a downward/backward angle.

*edit* Damn my slow fingers!
