Alright so who's going? Letlive and Your Demise are supporting, not too keen on them but I'm only going for Shikari anyway. They are the only band that does screamo that I can stand (and enjoy).

I think enter shikari are quite a marmite band, people either like them or hate them. I wouldn't really go so far on the 'screamo' label either, they've really abandoned most of their harsh vocals on the newer stuff. I am disappoint.
I'll most probably be going to the Oxford date, though the crowd might be a bit rubbish. It's during freshers' week as well, so I really don't know how it'll turn out - as quite a lot of people could come, or absolutely no-one could come as they go to the other organised things. I'm interested to hear some more of the new material, as I haven't been too keen on Destabilise or Quelle Surprise so far. I enjoyed the two albums however.
I would have liked Destabilise a lot more if it didn't have quite so many breakdowns in it, though there's one which is just dire - the shuffley one. I just can't stand that. Quelle Surprise is just a very meh song though.

Well not screamo I suppose. I don't really like much rock/whatever Enter Shikari is genre of music so I don't really know how to correctly name them but I don't normally like the kind of vocals that Enter Shikari use, however I love enter shikari. I'll put the two support acts on my iPod and try to get into it. I'm sure if I just jump up and down and go mad I'll enjoy it regardless :p
I like the Take to the Skies album the best, so many good songs: OK, time for plan B, Adieu, Sorry you're not a winner, Johnny Sniper, in fact I like almost every song on the album which is really weird for me, normally I just have a few favourites. I wasn't a big fan of Destabilise either but I like Quelle Surprise.

Oh and Hectic should be absolutely insane live.

I think for once the marmite label is used correctly, me and a few of my friends love them , all the others hate them.

The reason they're the only band that does "screamo" that you "enjoy" is because they're not a screamo band.

Brilliant, if bizarre, choice of support. letlive. are phenomenal live, I'm told and Your Demise are always great.

Terrible band, mind you. They're not musically capable or inventive enough to match their ambition, becoming steadily worse with each release.

But hey, the kids love em!

One of my favourite bands! A friend first sent me a link to 'Sorry You're not a Winner' and I was like, What is this crap! Then I saw then live in '08 and I've loved them ever since. Take to Skies is better than Common Dreads (still has some great songs) but I agree with the above statement about the lack of harsh vocals in their new stuff. However, I hope they're outliers and the upcoming album is similar to 'Take to the Skies!

I might get tickets to the Camden - Electric Ballroom show if I can find anyone else who likes them (not many of my friends do!).

... Now all I need is Pendulum to come to the O2 or The Prodigy to have another Warriors Dance Festival with a similar line up!
