My worst nightmare.. yet I love it!

I have a laptop here that belongs to a friend of my dad's. I have it because it wouldn't connect to any networks, wired or wireless just came up as an autoconfig IP. I got that fixed but I cannot resist sorting out all this junk, something just so, theraputic about it!

it is nice when you refresh a machine, but when you run into problems like these it is very annoying

The ammount of stuff they put on is crazy, this is one of the worst I've seen! I was using 60% of it's 2gb ram on idle as well

Down to 35% now

Getting there.. I don't have the blody charger for it tho

Funny you should mention that. I had an Asus G41 board that didn't allow vcore change, I fitted a Asus P5K Deluxe today and she's now running at 3.2GHz nicely

I thought it would have been the mobo holding you back... always seems to be the case. Criminal really.

I also have the same chip. Does everything I need coupled with a 6970

I just got my dad to use Chrome like a few days ago after months of me telling him to. Yesterday he was like "Oh, I think Google Chrome is much better".

I'm not a big fan of Firefox, it has a bit more customizability and add-ons I think but Chrome is definitely faster. Only used FF for a few days then straight back to chrome

I think I get access to something now forgot what though

I used to be very anti-firefox for some reason

I love it now though, I can customise it to just how I like it :cool:
