Mk IV's look the best :p

No turbo's makes it almost worthless regardless of how clean it is! Would explain why its been on sale for some time now :p

You'll have to excuse the bonnet, and tbh i'm not sure what Mitsubishi were thinking with the spoiler!

The MkIV had lost all the trick parts and shed ~100kg in the process.
 
When I was learning to drive, this was the car I always wanted. The 3000 GTO TT. Epic car. It was the first car I bought in GT on the PS and was super modable!
 
EDIT: Just discovered - if you have a mouse with a wheel, click wheel in and then scroll down the page and it almost looks like a flicker book. Quite entertaining.

Thanks, I've discovered it is possible to make yourself dizzy without moving.
 
JDM import, no turbos, slushmatic and interior trim from a bottom of the range Colt.

Might be clean enough to eat your dinner off but he's looking at a potential market of about three people.

FAIL.
 
Try the advert listed in the OP. Cloth seats for a start...

Being the only difference, i still fail to see how that can be compared to a Colt :confused:

Having driven more than my fair share of cars from the 90's, the GTO's interior is probably one of the nicer places to be.
 
My commiserations. If acres of standard issue japanese grey plastic floats your boat then carry on.

Don't get me wrong, it was an awesome techno gadget car when it first appeared, in fact a mate of my Dad bought one of the first UK cars in the country. I just wouldn't really term a clean example of an underspecced Jap import version car pron.
 
I just have to show someone this. It looks absolutely amazing. Plus, just the amount of pictures this guy put up shows he really likes this car. It's probably too good to be true, but it's been my dream car for years. If I had a spare 4 grand in my back pocket, I'd snap this up in a second.

Mitsubishi GTO 3000GT SR Edition

OP, that's a NA 3 litre auto, not TT, which can be had in simlar condition for less than the ad.

I had a modified Mitsi GTO a few years ago, Apexi turbos, Blitz defcon V etc, was trully amazing, but drank more than Charlotte Church, so had to go :(

Give me a SWB 300ZX TT or a Supra TT any day. I think the 3000GT is a distant 3rd to those two.

0-60 the GTO is actually 0.3 seconds faster than the Supra, its on par with the NSX-T, the Ferrari F355 and the top Corvette of the day.

1/4 mile its dead level with the Supra (guess the 4WD gave it the advantage off the line in the 0-60), they are both 0.3 slower than the NSX, and 0.4 behind the F355 and the Corvette.



Don't really like the look of it, seems like something from the late 80's or early 90's.

Considering it was designed in the late 80's and launched in 1990 I fail to understand why :P




Random cool fact: A modified GTO was originally scripted to be Brians main car in the first fast and the furious film but it was changed to the Supra as the GTO lacked a removable roof for the final scene
 
Plus the Supra is better :p

Stock for stock id say the GTO is the better car, performs slightly better and its better equipped, however given the choice between the two id buy the MK4 Supra (and I did, owned one a couple of years back) as its much better for modifying (the fact that one of the best £ per hp mods for the GTO is to swap in the engine from a 3.5L Pajero says a lot)

This, the N/A versions of the GTO/Supra/300zx look nice but when your being beaten out of the lights by Civics and Mondeos those looks are little comfort.
