Fairly Large reseller gone bust, be wary!

They had a warehouse a couple of miles away with a shop counter as well. A lot of their business was local though so they maintained a central(ish) presence.

Never liked them, but have used the in the past for convinience.
 
If they don't reopen under another name it will be a real opportunity for the other Manchester place that offers foreign exchanges for OcUK staff, in terms of local business anyway.

Think they'd be daft not to take the opportunity to open a counter centrally as a massive %age of students bought their stuff from MD because it's walkable.
 
Doesnt surprise me. I used to use them before OCUK. Had a run in with them a few years back where I had to escalate things to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards.

They couldnt give me any details but alluded to the fact that I was definitely not the only person that had problems with them, they were pretty damn shady, and that I should avoid using them in future.
 
Umm back in the days when i would buy Micromart to buy PC stuff... (lolz)
I remember MD being one of the "bigger playas"

I always buy from the cheapest/best delivery options......
