I currently have a Powercolor 5850 in my rig, can I xfrire it with the Saphire 5850 Extreme (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-259-SP&tool=3) even though the Saphire has been overclocked?

The sapphire is not overclocked and should be fine
so you think its "extreme"![]()
Yes, I have that Psu with 2x5850's and haven't had any bother.
clicky this shows that the 2 5850s in CF would be quicker overall.CoolAre two 5850s faster than a single 6970? I was thinking of holding off until Battlefield 3 comes then sell my 5850 and get a 6970... what should I do?
I'm contemplating the same thing myself, now I'm tempted to sell my 5850 and get one of these http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-079-GI then go sli later on.
doesnt look like much in it though comparing the 5850 to a 6950 in x fire mode
